The Department of Veteran Affairs project was a lump sum Design-Build contract with the Meridian Group for renovating and converting 11,737 SF of office space on the 3rd and 12th floors of an occupied Washington, DC building. PWC Companies and LDG collaborated to optimize space efficiency and facilitate the VA's relocation. The project involved selective demolition, new drywall partitions, glass office walls, custom millwork, high-end finishes, and a complex ceiling design. Major system upgrades included mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and security enhancements, such as attack-resistant doors and secure conferencing. Close coordination ensured seamless execution of lighting, mechanical systems, and security integration.
