PWC Companies completed the interior renovation of an occupied senior living facility with Capital Seniors Housing, focusing on updating finishes, mechanical systems, and life-safety features over a carefully phased 16-week timeline. The project included removing and replacing wall coverings, floor finishes, and wall bases, along with upgrading electrical and data outlets. Using a design-build approach, PWC coordinated the installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, integrating new lighting fixtures where possible.

Efforts included restoring surfaces to “like-new” condition, refurbishing or replacing millwork, and installing compliant fire doors, signage, alarms, and sprinkler systems per NFPA codes. Temporary power, lighting, and telecom wiring enabled the facility to remain fully operational. Weekly meetings with facility staff ensured smooth coordination, kept the project within budget, and minimized disruptions for tenants.
